If you haven’t seen the tulip fields at Burnside Farms in Haymarket, VA, it is incredible. The tagline “Holland in Haymarket” on their website, is no exaggeration. During their business hours, you can go out into the fields and pick tulips. You dig them out of the ground and take them with the bulb still attached. I love that about the farm because you can replant it and enjoy the tulips for years.
After hours, you can obtain a permit for photography. This is the second season that this family and I have used Burnside Farms for their session. You can looked back from last summer and see their sunflower session here.
